Iron Buckets is a miniature-agnostic micro skirmish game about rusted war machines that absolutely should not still be operational.  Each player controls a small squad of mechs and battles over a small battlefield.

Live on every screen in known space

Buckets are massive industrial titans originally built for deep-space harvesting and conquest. Though they once dominated the stars, most were left to rot on forgotten battlefields after the Metallium Carta banned their deployment in war. Now, they have been salvaged and reactivated for far more profitable business than war: entertainment.

The war ended long ago. But the machines remained.

  • Dice-based Activation: Each player has a pool of 6d6. The value of each die determines which actions are available, and players choose how to spend them during the battle.
  • Barely-functioning Mechs: These machines break, topple, and drag themselves back up.
  • Miniature-agnostic: Play with any models you already own. A base size between 28mm and 32mm is recommended.
  • Small-scale: Designed for a small battlefield and small squads.
  • Rules-light: Fast to learn, quick to play, minimal setup.
